unfortunately you can't just become an actress for disney. to start you need to get some acting classes. alot of casting directors run acting classes and will send you to an agent when they think you are ready. no one should ask you for any money up front. most people have managers and agents. you don't need a manager but you have to have an agent. you won't see anyone without an agent. managers and agents only get paid when you get work. agents get 10% managers get 15%. the only cost upfront is for your composits or pictures you need to take to each aduition. they run between
three to four hundred dollars. most people start out by going on commercial interviews to get experience in front of a camera. if your in los angeles you can pick up a copy of a magazine called variety or mayby the hollywood reporter. casting agents and managers advertise in them. you will also find acting classes in them. also there are around 30 or 40 thousand actors in sag and aftra but around 3 thousand have constant work. Ive tried to give as much info as possible and not be long winded and negative but just want to let you know what your in for. things won't happen overnite. our daughter started acting when she was 6 and it was a good experience for her. if this is really what you want stay strong and be determined
References :
It depends on the show. Sometimes the script comes weeks in advance, but changes may arrive the night before, or even on set.

Daytime soaps usually get their sides the night before.

Commercial actors usually get their finalized sides a few days before, but it always changes on set.

Since TV only shoots in short segments, it's easier to memorize lines, as opposed to an actor in a play. Plus on TV (as well as film), they shoot each scene many times for different angles of the shot. (For example, each time you see the camera cut between closeups of actors' faces, that was a separate shoot of the scene.)
References :
It soooo depends. Yes, you generally get a script 2 weeks in advance but a lot of times things are rewritten anyway and the morning of the day you are shooting you get another set of colored pages and things have changed so how much time do you get? I'd say 2 hours - 2 weeks :-) If you're on contract yes you may get the help of a prompter or a cue card person but it's best just to memorize. Plus you can hide your script in a prop for peeks between takes. For instance if you're sitting on a couch, your script can be behind the cushion. If your standing by something with a drawer, it may be in the drawer.

answer your question?
